Song of the Day (#20)

Might not be my favourite Sigur Ros song, but it is definitely my favourite Sigur Ros video. Iceland is so hauntingly gorgeous, it's unreal, and the people seem to be pretty as well. If you ever seen 'How to Train Your Dragon', doesn't this vid really remind you of the main characters. The whole Viking setting, with the clothing and everything. Anyways, I was stumbling this morning and I came across a treat for the eyes. +1 for my Bucket List. Shit, I got to get on that traveling, quick! The place is called Seljanlandsfoss and there is a picture below. Don't get me wrong, I love the song, but it's the video that makes it for me. Breathtaking!

Boy, do I ever have a doozy for you today! Another Pacific North West band from the amazing city of Portland, Oregon. I actually have the pleasure of introducing you to them while they're still relatively unheard of. They don't even have a Wikipedia page for crying out loud. I have come to a conclusion that they have the coolest band name I've ever heard. Ladies and gentlemen, I bring you Y La Bamba!
